SSL certificates are a pain. Even though they can easily be found now for only $10, they still take a while to get load, and renew. A new service from the linux foundation fixes these problems. LetsEncrypt gives you free ssl certificates that are automatically installed and valid in all major browsers. This service is backed by big names such as Firefox, Chrome, CISCO, Facebook. Which makes sense, a more secure internet is good for everyone. Good for everyone but the people how sell the useless SSL badges. So making a free painless SSL installation program makes sense.
You can install and configure LetsEncrypt by going to their github page and following the instructions. Even though I already paid for a certificate for this site, I used LetsEncrypt because it is so easy and renewing will be seamless. Finally I can use SSL everywhere I do any web stuff which will be great.
