No one can do everything–a foot cannot see and a eye cannot walk. You may think that anyone can record and upload sermons to the internet . . . but they cannot. Uploading sermons takes a lot of time and effort. It is something that has to be worked on every week, and it is the same steps every week. It takes a person with a special gift to do it.
For some people kids drive them crazy, and working with them is not a gift God gave them. Other people see kids as their gift and believe that what they do is incredibly important. They work with kids with joy, even though it is extremely hard. They believe it is a gift God gave them, and the hard work is worth it to serve God.
God gave me gifts, but uploading sermons is not one of them. I get incredibly impatient watching the progress bar on the computer slowly complete as the sermon is uploaded. I do not handle repetitive tasks well. I get bored, and want everything I do to have something new and different in it. These personality traits make me perfect for some of the gifts God gave. Horrible for uploading sermons every week, though.
So do not fool yourself; not everyone can upload sermons. It is just not the technical aspect; it is the personality aspect. Some people will see it as boring and will not be able to keep up with the work. Some other people will see it as a great service they can do for God, and be able to easily do it with joy. You may not find anyone in your church that can do it. Pray to God to give you guidance on whether to upload sermons, and who to ask. If you get someone that has the gift to upload sermons, cherish them.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
